While it runs
Notes, ideas, and updates from the team building Script.it.
- How to Build Automations That Get Better Over Time - How collaboration, persistent memory, and editable scripts help judgment-based workflows improve over time.
- Why Base44 Beat Wix - Traditional no-code builders created sophisticated visual interfaces for people. AI-native builders won by letting AI work in the language it knows best: code.
- Scripts after code disappears - When the thing you are building is an automatic process, the process itself is the artifact. Here is why it needs to stay visible even when the code disappears.
- How to stay employed next to the robots - The way to stay valuable as AI changes knowledge work is not to gamble on better prompts. It is to learn power tools and use them for workflows that actually matter.
- Code Beats Prompts: Cutting the Agent-Orchestration Overhead - A customer's daily outreach script cost ~$566 a year to run — not because of the work, but because a full AI agent re-ran the same fixed steps every morning. Running the script's code directly instead cut that ~61%, to ~$219, with identical output.
- Automate with as little AI as possible - Big AI wants every token you've got. But there's a cheaper, more reliable way to automate — one that uses far less AI than they want you to think.
- Knowledge Worker to Architect - Tom interviews Nivge, our CEO, about the story of Script.it, how it came to be, and where AI for knowledge work is going.
- Script.it: The Missing Layer Between Zapier and AI Agents - Tom from SyntaxGTM walks through the product, real use cases, and Script.it positioning between workflow automation and AI agents.
